Cadence LSW is operated by its development team. This notice explains the information used to provide the service and the choices available to you. The support team handles questions and data requests.
Joining the waitlist is free and does not create an app account or a paid subscription. The waitlist and beta are currently for US residents aged 18 or older.
Eligibility
Before a new signup is processed, we ask you to confirm that you live in the United States and are at least 18 years old. We do not ask for a home address, date of birth, or payment information for this check. The confirmation is checked when you submit; it is not stored as a separate eligibility record. Contact our support team if you believe someone under 18 has submitted personal information so we can review and address it.
Website and waitlist information
When you join, we collect your name and email address. Role, the area you want help with, and platform preference are optional. We record your consent choices and the status and timing of confirmation and preference actions.
How we use waitlist information
We use this information to confirm your address, manage the waitlist, understand beta needs, and contact you about access. Optional product news and the newsletter each require a separate choice. Joining the waitlist does not create an app account.
Account and workspace information
When you use the beta app, we process account identifiers, your name and email, sign-in and invitation status, and preferences such as timezone and notifications. The sign-in options available to you depend on the methods enabled for the service. A sign-in provider also processes information under its own privacy terms.
We store the activities, completion history, tasks, people records, notes, meeting information, and review content you choose to enter. We use this information to display and organize your workspace, support follow-ups, and provide the features you use. Enter information about other people only when you have permission or another appropriate basis to do so, and keep it relevant to your work.
Personal and shared content
Account ownership and access permissions control access to personal records. If team features are available to your account, team records may be accessible to members or leaders according to those permissions. Check the workspace and sharing context before adding information. A note marked private is an access distinction, not end-to-end encryption: note text is stored in a form the service can process. Authorized service operations and infrastructure providers can process stored information to operate and support Cadence LSW.
Service providers
We use service providers for data storage, processing and sign-in (Supabase), website hosting (Vercel), email delivery (Resend), and abuse protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). They process the information needed to provide those services, including technical request information used to deliver and secure them.
Email choices
Confirmation and beta-access messages support your waitlist request. Product news and the newsletter are optional, with separate unchecked choices and an explicit choice when confirming your email. You can unsubscribe from either category without leaving the waitlist, or stop all optional email. Withdrawing ends active waitlist participation and clears both optional email choices. App notification and digest preferences are managed separately in the app; enabled digests may include workspace content.
How we keep the service working and understand usage
We use request details to spot automated abuse and limit repeated requests. For example, we turn a network address into a protected identifier so we can count requests from the same source and limit abuse without building an advertising profile. We also count visits to a few website sections and steps in the signup process to understand where the service needs improvement. These measurements do not include your name, email, form answers, or private email links, and we do not use them to build advertising profiles.
The app records limited first-party performance and usage events, such as page categories, load and interaction timing, and operational status. These records can be associated with your app account; they are not anonymous. Performance collection excludes note text, form contents, full page addresses, and browser page-element details. Authorized administrators use operational records to diagnose problems and understand service use. Hosting, authentication, and security providers also process technical information needed for their services.
Information on your device
The app uses browser storage for sign-in state, preferences, and limited offline functionality. Cached Today data and queued changes may remain on your device between visits. Some note and people content is excluded from the Today offline snapshot, but this does not make all locally stored data non-sensitive. Protect devices you use, sign out on shared devices, and protect downloaded exports.
Retention and choices
We retain waitlist records while managing beta access and necessary consent or suppression records to honor your choices. Withdrawal is not an automatic deletion of every record and does not delete an app account. App records support your workspace and service operations; archiving content is not the same as erasing it. We do not promise a fixed deletion deadline or immediate removal from backups.
App Settings provides a workspace JSON export and a completion-history CSV export. Account deletion and other access, correction, or deletion requests receive manual review through the support team. Use the in-app support form or email . We may need to verify your identity and clarify the scope before acting. Do not send passwords, secret links, or unnecessary sensitive details.
Updates to this notice
We may update this notice as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version. We do not sell waitlist information.
